Mumbai Indians have found their rhythm after a slow start to the season, currently enjoying a six-match winning streak. The team’s success has been built on the bowling partnership of Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult, while batsmen Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav have been leading the scoring charts.

Gujarat Titans have also demonstrated strong home performance, winning four out of five matches at their Ahmedabad ground. They have two more home games scheduled among their four remaining matches.
Gujarat Titans have also shown impressive form but have experienced a recent dip, securing only two victories in their last four matches. Their batting lineup, featuring Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler, has maintained consistency, while Prasidh Krishna has emerged as their leading wicket-taker in the current season.
For this crucial match, Gujarat Titans made one change to their lineup, bringing in left-arm pacer Arshad Khan to replace Washington Sundar.
“We will bowl first. I don’t think the wicket will change much, got to have a total on the board and then chase it. It’s all about delivering our best as a team. We have one change. Arshad comes back for Sundar. Rabada is back (in the squad), but he will need a few practice sessions and a few games to get back in his groove. We are fortunate that we can use Kishore when needed. We have 6-7 bowling options,” said Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill at the toss.
“We don’t mind batting. There’s a lot of breeze. It will be fine to bowl second in such conditions as well. For us it’s important to execute our plans. In IPL, anyone can come in and change a game. We need to stick to our plans and be ruthless for 20 overs. We need to maintain discipline, need to be humble and focused. We are playing with the same team,” said Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya.
